PLAYORA is a sports management platform designed for colleges, universities and other institutions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information when you visit our website, contact us, request a demonstration, or interact with PLAYORA services.

We believe privacy information should be clear and easy to understand. This policy also explains your privacy rights and how you can contact us with questions or requests relating to your personal information.

PLAYORA is a sports management platform for Indian colleges and universities, built by OneTap Sports India Pvt Ltd. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean OneTap Sports India Pvt Ltd, and “you” means the person whose information we hold.

This policy covers personal information associated with your use of the public PLAYORA website: visiting the site, contacting PLAYORA, submitting a website form, requesting a product demonstration, and communicating with our team. It also covers your use of PLAYORA services where this policy applies.

Where information is processed through PLAYORA on behalf of a college, university or other institution, that information may additionally be governed by the institution’s agreement with PLAYORA and by the institution’s own privacy practices. We collect what you type into one of the two forms on this website. We also collect one thing you do not type: basic statistics about how this website is visited, which we collect for every visitor whether or not they fill in a form.

Information You Provide

A field is marked required only where we cannot respond to your enquiry without it. The visit statistics record which pages are viewed and when, the website you arrived from, the country you are visiting from, your browser, operating system and type of device, and an identifier used to count separate visitors. They do not use cookies or store anything on your device, and they are not connected to anything you type into a form.

Colleges, universities and other institutions use PLAYORA to manage their sports programmes, and may provide or manage information relating to their authorised users, athletes, students, teams, events and sports programmes as part of that use. What information is entered into PLAYORA, and how it is used, is directed by the institution rather than by this website. PLAYORA processes that information to provide the service the institution has contracted for.

We use what you submit through this website solely to respond to your enquiry and, where you have asked for one, to arrange a product demonstration for your institution.

We use the visit statistics only to understand which pages people read and how they find this website, so that we can improve it. We do not use them to identify you or for advertising.

Where you use PLAYORA services, we use information to provide and operate those services, manage authorised user accounts, support our institutional customers, provide customer support, and maintain the reliability and security of the platform.

We also use information to improve PLAYORA, to meet our contractual obligations, and to meet applicable legal requirements.

We rely on the consent you give when you submit a form. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell it to anyone.

Colleges, universities and other institutions may use PLAYORA to manage their sports programmes and may provide or manage information relating to their authorised users, students and athletes. The institution decides what information is entered into PLAYORA and who can access it; PLAYORA processes that information to deliver the service under our agreement with the institution. If you have questions about information held about you inside PLAYORA, you may need to contact your institution directly, since it manages that information through PLAYORA.

We do not sell your personal data. It may be seen by PLAYORA staff handling your enquiry, by the technology and hosting providers that run this website and deliver our email, by the institution you belong to where information relates to services we provide to that institution, by our professional advisers where necessary, and by authorities where we are legally required to share it.

Information processed through PLAYORA on behalf of an institution is hosted in India, on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region. How long we keep information depends on why it was collected. A website enquiry is kept only for as long as needed to respond to it. For institutional information, retention also depends on our relationship with that institution, our contractual and legal obligations, and any security or dispute-resolution requirements. You can ask us to delete information you have submitted to this website at any time. See “Your Privacy Rights” below.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information, including secure authentication, role-based access and managed, monitored hosting. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:

• Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct it where it is inaccurate, and complete it where it is partial
• Erase it, where it is no longer needed for the purpose you gave it for
• Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it
• Have a grievance heard by us before you approach the Data Protection Board of India
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity

PLAYORA relies on third-party technology providers to operate parts of the service, for example cloud infrastructure, website hosting and analytics, email and communications, and customer support tools. The PLAYORA platform is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in India. These providers process information only to the extent needed to provide their service to PLAYORA, and under their own applicable terms.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to PLAYORA, our privacy practices, or applicable requirements. When we update this policy, we will publish the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
